Dr. Salvador Portugal serves as a Clinical Instructor at the NYU School of Medicine and is an Attending Physiatrist within the Rusk Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as in Sports Medicine, he specializes in Interventional Spine & Sports Medicine. He provides comprehensive evaluation and non-surgical management of a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions, predominantly of the lower back and neck. Dr. Portugal also teaches medical students, residents, and sports medicine fellows.
